At arts camp, a reserved 13-year old girl feels seen for the first time when an older counselor takes her under his wing. As the boundaries of their friendship begin to blur, she must reckon with the unexpected consequences of her self-discovery.

Director Biography - Anne-Sophie Bine

Anne-Sophie is a Franco-Polish director & writer based in Los Angeles. 

She attended the American Film Institute as a Directing Fellow (class of '22). Prior to that, she graduated from Stanford University with a BA in Comparative Literature, Art History and Creative Writing, and an MA in Philosophy from Paris-I Sorbonne.

She got her start in the film industry by working with Academy Award winning Production Designer Rick Heinrichs on Disney’s Pinocchio in London, and Amazon’s Lord of the Rings TV show in New Zealand.

Her personal work focuses on female protagonists in precarious moral situations. She is especially interested in the complexities of coming-of-age.
