Welcome to the activity sign up form.

The Saturday option is a morning hike up Hell Hole Canyon.  The Hell Hole hike location was used as part of the climatic scene in the film “One Battle After Another.” This excursion is a guided hike by one of our famous local naturalists Mike McElhatton. The tour starts @7AM.  The number of people that can sign up for this tour is unlimited.

The Sunday tour visits an amazing natural overlook at sunrise. The meeting time for this event is 5:30AM. The maximum amount of people on this tour will be 14. Font’s point is a beautiful viewpoint in the Anza Borrego State Park badlands. It’s also the location of many film shoots over the years.  Most recently the finale’ of “Everything Everywhere All At Once” was filmed here, as well as 2024’s BSFF film selection, “The Buildout”.

These tours start and end early enough so it will not conflict with any of our screening BLOCKS. Please sign up ONLY if your truly plan to commit to the activity. It helps our volunteers running the tours to plan ahead. Happy tourist’ing!
