Breakdown
A solitary architect finds herself teetering on the edge of burnout as she begins to lose passion for her craft. On a lonely walk home she encounters an industrial warehouse that has been converted into a speakeasy rave. Can an intense techno dance session reignite a fire and snap her out of this malaise?
Director Biography - Sam Hyatt
SAM HYATT is an independent filmmaker based out of San Jose, CA and founder of the Bay Area based Super Nominal Productions.
Born and raised in upstate New York, he moved to the Bay to pursue a career in tech as a mechanical engineer. Seven years later he left the tech world to realize his true passion, telling weird stories on the sliver screen. He thoroughly enjoys turning the minutia of every day life on it’s head to create surreal experiences.
His most recent projects “Apology” and “Raise The Bar” have screened at the SF Independent Film Festival, Charlotte Film Festival, and Atlanta Shortsfest among others.
