Director Biography - Arianna Ortiz

Arianna Ortiz is a Peruvian-American actor, writer and filmmaker. Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, she studied theater at The California Institute of the Arts (CALARTS). She has appeared in countless episodes of television, films and on stage and was nominated for the LA Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Featured Performance in 2019 for Stephanie Alison Walker’s FRIENDS WITH GUNS. She was critically acclaimed for her work in Edson Oda’s 2020 Sundance winning, sci-fi drama NINE DAYS (Sony Pictures Classics) opposite Winston Duke (US, BLACK PANTHER).
