DID YOU KNOW?

The award winning film: INTO THE WILD directed by Mr. Sean Penn spent a month filming in the Borrego area in 2007.  On one of the locations, the film company built a set in Ocotillo Wells State Vehicular Recreation Area. They re-created a Nudist colony known as "Oh My God Hot Springs."

The production also visited Salvation Mountain in Niland and filmed a poignant scene with the late/great Leonard Knight.
