We’ll be screening the 2023 Indian blockbuster “Shaakuntalam” on January 10th at 1pm.

The Indian Telugu film Shaakuntalam (2023) Is a cInematic adaption of the playwright Kalidasa's Abhi nanashakuntalam which is a 7-act play written around the 4th century BCE.

The story itself is derived from the Mahabharata. one of the Indian epics. Many Indians consider the Mahabharata as a part of Indian history and not merely as a mythological epic. The film released on the 14th of April, 2023 in all major Indiar lanquages like Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada including its principle language Telugu.
