#1: Can you describe your movie and why somebody should see it in less than 280 characters?

- Faceless, but Remembered is a wild thriller that challenges the idea of how a kidney transplant recipient should act in post-transplant life. It’s based on my real experience and the things no one wants to talk about. It’s entertaining, I swear!

#2: What do you want the Borrego Springs Film Festival audience to know about your film that isn’t obvious from its title?

- It's about kidney transplants and the weird cult-like world of post-transplant life, and also having fun with genre.

It’s New Year’s Eve. Camp, a recent kidney transplant recipient, gets called in to work at a gas station with his Uncle Ellis, a transplant recipient 20 years prior. As the night wears on, Ellis stops at nothing to force Camp to be more appreciative of his second chance at life, resulting in nightmarish consequences. Written and Directed by Shelby Baldock Starring - Ryan Caraway, Douglas Dickerman, Taylor Owen

#3: What is your movie making background? Tell us about yourself.

- I grew up in Memphis loving film, making home movies as a kid and getting more serious as I got older. Eventually, I got to work for the Recording Academy, travel with the North Mississippi Allstars, shooting music videos, travel videos, a concert film, etc. and also co-founded a Memphis-based film co-op, Piano Man Pictures. That led me to Chapman University, which led me to Borrego Springs!

#4: What was the biggest lesson learned in getting your film made?

- You have to step up and make decisions. Telling people what you want and believing in your team. There's never any downtime. You can always work and make it better.

#5: What does the future hold for your film and you?

- I'm currently in post-production on a feature documentary, Bombie, writing, editing editing editing, and trying to get a new film off the ground.
