Stephanie Striegel, a native of Hollywood, California began her career working with Tim Burton's production company during the filming of ED WOOD and THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS.
Later Stephanie joined TriStar Pictures where she served as executive assistant to Stacey Snider. Projects included JERRY MAGUIRE and MY BEST FRIEND'S WEDDING.
A year later she was offered a position at New Line Cinema working in Development. She worked on BOOGIE NIGHTS, LIVING OUT LOUD, BLOW, and BLADE. While Story Editor, she also served as Executive Producer on the award winning boxing film, PRICE OF GLORY, starring Jimmy Smits.
After six years at New Line, Stephanie joined Spyglass Entertainment as Vice President Of Production. She went into production on Universal Studios' CONNIE AND CARLA, starring Nia Vardalos, Toni Collette, and David Duchovney. In addition, she oversaw projects that included FERRARI, UNDERDOG, and 27 DRESSES, starring Katherine Heigl.
After Spyglass she served as Senior Vice President of Production at independent production company Bigel Entertainment, where she developed and packaged projects for a finance fund. Projects included Jan De Bont's action thriller JACKED, Frank Baldwin's drama BREAK, and the romance NEVER CHANGE with Sharon Stone attached.
Stephanie joined You're Faded Films, veteran actor Dennis Farina's (GET SHORTY, MIDNIGHT RUN, SNATCH) production company. She brought in and subsequently produced the Chicago based feature THE LAST RITES OF JOE MAY which premiered to critical acclaim at the Tribeca Film Festival and released in 2011. She also sold the television series DIVISION 19 to E1 Entertainment.
She joined Identity Films and developed a slate that included projects with directors, Carl Franklin, Marc Forster, Kimberly Pierce, and Donald Petrie.
Most recently she has joined United Friends of the Children, a nonprofit organization dedicated to bettering the lives of current and former foster youth through support in education and housing.
