QUESTION 1: What about your film excites you the most?

As a witness for Walter, I am proud to have fulfilled his last wish: to share his story and ensure that he is never forgotten. It is a true honor for me.

QUESTION 2: What is it about your current movie that will influence your next film?

I'm confident to say that the next one won't be a based-on-true story period piece! But seriously, writing about a real person requires a lot of historical research; I probably will dig deeper into the histories of the fictional characters that I create.

QUESTION 3: When you are shooting a film do you think of time as something you capture or something you construct?

Time was both Walter's prison and his salvation. As the writer, I aimed to capture a moment of PTSD that would provide the audience with insight into his life while also illustrating how far he still needed to go to come to terms with his past.

QUESTION 4: Whats a limitation you wish you had on your next shoot that would force you into making interesting creative decisions?

My feature scripts deliberately feature fewer characters and locations. I firmly believe that when characters have nowhere to run or hide, it fundamentally transforms the story.

QUESTION 5: If a film shoot is like a living organism which department do you think functions as its nervous system?
